SoCalDIMS will be there in the front row to take in the gloriousness of Godzilla. Don't be shy...bring your family and friends and let's enjoy this incredible night at the drive-in. Los Angeles area drive-in fans are rejoicing.
The Paramount Drive-In, formerly know
as the Rodium Drive-In closed it's doors
and ceased drive-in operations in 1991.
22 years later with the property still owned
by the Bianchi Family and with a fully functioning
swap meet still operating on the site,
the drive is now open. With two new 75 foot wide
screens, digital projectors and brand new

This Saturday Night if you live in the Los Angeles area come on out to the Mission Tiki Drive-In Theater in the city of Montclair and witness the Los Angeles drive-in theater premier of "Going Attractions: The Definitive film about the Drive-in Movie" and meet the filmmaker April Wright in person. You will also be treated to a great triple feature of Gravity followed by Going Attractions and ending with Prisoners.

3D movies have finally made it to a drive-in movie theater.

Last weekend the Galaxy Drive-In Theater in Texas

began showing movies in 3D.


Finally an affordable option to those expensive indoor

Good News for all you Vineland Drive-In fans

Soon all 4 theaters will be broadcasting your favorite
first run films with brand new FM transmitters. Currently
screens 1, 2 & 3 are broadcasting with the newly installed
transmitters. Theater 4 will have it's new FM transmitter
installed very soon. The nights of poor reception
and theater "dead zones" will be long gone.

The Skyline Lives On!!!!

Grand Reopening Banner


The Skyline Drive IN Theatre in Barstow, California will have it's official Grand Re-opening on Friday, October2nd.  The Skyline is the latest acquisition of Gene Harvey Theatres and will open on the big screen with "ZOMBIELAND" and "DISTRICT9" from Sony Pictures.  Screen two bookings will be announced next Monday September, 28th.

 

From opening day until Thursday October 8th - all paid admissions will receive a free popcorn and a free soft drink.

 

The Skyline Drive IN will be managed by Mr. Quiyon Verner with guidance from

Jeff Thurman, COO of Gene HarveyTheatres and formerly with

DeAnza Land and Leisure at the Mission Tiki Drive INTheatre in Montclair, CA.

 

We hope to see all SOCAL DIMSmembers in Barstow soon.
